Connor McAuley Managing Director
Connor has been in the business of design and marketing for over 15 years and as the industry landscape changes and adapts so does Connor’s technique. Under Connor’s leadership Kaizen Brand Evolution has grown from a small Ireland – focussed studio to a much larger business working with major international, national and regional clients in London, Dublin, and Belfast.
Outside of business Connor is a keen Skier and electronic music expert.
Martin McAuley Managing Director
As partner in Kaizen Brand Evolution Martin channels his experience into making positive, creative change amongst our network of clients. He believes that relationships and reputation are the key factors in the success of Kaizen Brand Evolution, not only for our clients, but within our team as well. He develops clients such as BMW, Charles Hurst, Mount Charles and Robert Roberts to name but a few.
Martin is a keen sportsman, so if he’s not in the office you can find him on the badminton court, golf course, or running the New York Marathon.
Lynsay Spence Head of Brand
Lynsay has been building brands and directing creative teams for over 12 years. Leading major national and global projects has equipped her to look at a creative problem on a different level, developing strategies that focus on brands reaching audiences. Her astute management skills mean that projects are delivered, on time, on budget and most importantly on brand. She has worked with a diverse range of clients through the years including BBC NI, RSPB, Baker Street, Mount Charles Group and the Institution of Civil Engineers. Believing planning is key to any project, Lynsay gets under the skin of briefs, challenging creative problems to map the best solution for clients.
Lynsay is addicted to patterns and is often found at festivals, believing outside is the best side.
Glenda Johnston Creative Account Manager
An account manager with over 4 years experience in print, design and publishing Glenda thrives on working with clients who have big ambition. Her skills lie in helping people get to where they need to be, whether it’s through a full re-brand or a new ad campaign. Glenda gets to the core of the business to see how we can help.
She loves travelling to new places and exploring new food sensations. If you catch Glenda out in the wild watch out, you could end up on Instagram. She loves a wee selfie!
Darren Vincent Creative Account Manager
Darren is a Creative Account Manager with over 6 years experience. Having started working life in Northern Irelands leading sales teams and creative studios, Darren has spent the last few months adapting to Kaizen culture, mostly working with top end creative clients.
Darren enjoys figuring out what a brand needs to raise its bottom line utilising the studios expertise in creating engaging brand strategies and brand materials in print and digital. Darren collaborates with creative team members in delivering briefs and making sure expectations are met and clients are excited with the outcome.
Darren likes film and is a big Iron Maiden fan.
Brittany Salas Creative Account Manager
Brittany Salas joins Kaizen Brand Evolution ready and raring to go, as our new Brand Business Development Manager. She joins us on the back of spending 5 years at working for Merlin as part of their Marketing Team. With this valuable experience working for a large organisation, Brittany is able to bring her skills and expertise to Kaizen Brand Evolution, helping us to acquire the clients that we want, while also helping to build strong relationships with them and maintain these.
Outside of work, Brittany is big into both cooking and baking, always trying to whip up something new! When she isn’t making A* star meals, however, she can often be found cheering on her beloved Arsenal!
Ryan Stanfield Design Director
Ryan leads the branding team that create and manage some of Ireland and the UK’s most recognised brands such as Mirror Media, Boojum and Slim’s Healthy Kitchen. After numerous years in branding agencies Ryan has learnt that designing for the client, building relationships and getting to the core of the business is key when undertaking any brief. Here at Kaizen Brand Evolution he makes sure that the studio output is contemporary and inventive. His approach allows the team to grow and clients to lead in their field.
Ryan also is a specialist in branding and typography.
In his free time he plays lead guitar in a punk band.
Lizi Daley Web Designer / Team Leader
Web designer at Kaizen Brand Evolution Lizi ensures that all digital content and websites are forward thinking and progressive. She likes to push the envelope with functionality online while keeping the user in mind at all times, this approach excites the client and when executed successfully secures long standing relationships.
Lizi has a cat ‘Nala’ who she fuss over a little too much, and in her free time she likes to look up cat video’s on Youtube, oh! and did I mention she likes cats.
Shaleen O'Neill Designer
Fresh faced and ready to rumble, Shaleen joined Kaizen Brand Evolution following her astonishing End of Year show at Ulster University 2016. With specialisms in brand creation, art direction and copywriting Shaleen is comfortable in any creative medium with the studio. Shaleen not only brings creativity to KBE but also her family farming roots back home in Strangford where the dairy cows are branded with her family mark.
Dean Machala Designer
Dean is a designer with experience garnered in multiple creative agencies following graduation from the graphic design course at Preston University. Having come from a strategic design course Dean is in the process of building a strong foundation as a multi-disciplinary designer, expanding his skill set and horizons. Dean’s interests lie strongly in design and creativity, notably outside of work brewing his range of craft beer ‘Wardrobe’.
Outside of design Dean is a connoisseur of Dutch techno and a regular on the underground rave scene.
Esther Blair Designer
Esther is a second year university student from Ballymena and is studying graphic design and illustration at the Ulster Art College and is with Kaizen on a one year placement. Esther wanted to work with Kaizen because she wants to advance her knowledge of graphic skills and learn industry level skills.
When Esther is not following her passion of graphic design and typography she likes to spend her time in the north coast exploring the seaside, hiking or in cafe’s trying to find the best flat white.
Rebecca Blair Junior Designer
Rebecca brings joins Kaizen Brand Evolution with an already impressive career, bringing her talents to our design team. Graduating with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Ulster University in 2015, since then Rebecca has worked in studios in the UK and Ireland, as well as travelling across Australia, lending her talents to studios there. Throughout her time in both Ireland, she has worked with brands such as Jameson and Tourism NI.
She has worked on many projects giving her a wide range of knowledge in print, editorial, packaging, web, social media and signage design, which will only heighten the strengths of our team even further.
When she isn’t in the studio, Rebecca is a keen illustrator and showcases her talents throughout notebooks she has kept for the past 10 years, right from the beginning of her time at University.
Tara Faulkner Motion Graphics Designer
Tara Faulkner joins Kaizen Brand Evolution as a graduate in Animation. Having graduating from University in 2015 and hitting the ground running since, Tara has worked with various studios. Having worked in Web Design studios, and Video game studio's before working at Kaizen Brand Evolution, Tara is an Adobe Associate in Visual communications with Photoshop and can be found creating the animations and motion graphics for Kaizen Brand Evolution.
Outside of Kaizen, Tara can be found working on her own personal creative projects.
Adventuring and exploring, while taking landscape photography. Painting and drawing portraits, and both playing and reviewing video game's.
Matthew Beggs Digital Marketing Apprentice
Matthew graduated from Ulster University with a degree in Media Studies and Production. He now works with Kaizen whilst learning a trade in Digital Marketing. Fascinated by how all forms of digital media can be used to shape opinions and enhance a business’ performance. Matthew takes care of our social media and writes blogs for our website.
Matthews a bit of a vintage soul, he is a massive film and tv buff and loves exploring NI with his camera.
Daniel Lemon Digital Marketing Apprentice
A recent Ulster University graduate, Daniel joins Kaizen with a background in Creative Advertising, allowing him to bring knowledge of both Marketing and Design. Having worked with clients such as Derry City and Strabane District Council and the NI Chest, Heart and Stroke Foundation, he is ready to kick start his career.
Outside of work, Daniel spends his spare time with his headphones on and camera in hand, trying to get the perfect shot for his photography website.
Phil Blakemore Web Developer
As Web Developer at Kaizen Brand Evolution, Phil brings a healthy passion for technology and software development.
With his experience in iOS developmen Phil brings a modern, mobile orientated approach to our development.
When he's not glued to his laptop, you can probably find him watching Rugby or Cricket with his kids.
