Tribal Burger set out to bring their incredibly successful food truck concept ‘Burger Republic’to the high street, offering the best quality burgers, hand cut chips and sauce range. Made famous from their food truck appearances at the likes of Electric Picnic, Google Headquarters, Facebook Dublin to name a few their success is down to their product and personality.
A new venture in a bricks and mortar format prompted a re-brand including a complete name change to suit the market. The name was born out of the concept of loyalty, trust and die-hard customers craving the best burgers in the land. With the name in place the branding process started. Nestled in the center of the botanic restaurant mile Tribal Burger had to stand out amongst some big name competitors and the branding had a primary function to engage with the student population of Botanic.
We created the Tribal Burger logo with one thing in mind, simplicity. We asked ourselves - how do we make the name fit this format, without using a traditional, obvious ‘Tribal’ visual. The mark acts as a stamp, a badge and an icon.
You can see how recognizable the icon has now become throughout Tribal Burgers packaging, labeling and online presence. The logos versatility across mediums strengthens the brand without losing consistency. The deep red palette was introduced initially to resemble the meatiness of the burgers but now holds value as a confident, unique brand palette that stands out amongst the crowd.
